The present zoning classification is AC - Agricultural Conservation and RS-1 - Single Family Residence (Kent County) and the proposed zoning classification is R-10 - One Family Residence (City of Dover) The First Reading of the proposed ordinance was accomplished during the Council Meeting of May 8, 2006.

13. First Reading - Proposed Ordinance
The First Reading is offered on the following proposed ordinance. Since it is an amendment to the Zoning Code, a public hearing is required. It is recommended for referral to the Planning Commission on September 18, 2006, the Parks, Recreation, and Community Enhancement Committee on October 10, 2006, and that a Public Hearing be set before City Council for October 23, 2006 at 7:30 p.m. and that the Second Reading and Final Action by Council will take place at that time. Copies of all proposed ordinances are available at the entrance of the Council Chambers or can be obtained from the City Clerk's Office.
